Kitchen Hair  Cooking Up a Sexier Look
By Nicholas Peters

Do you crave softer, shinier hair? Does your hair always seem to be lacking moisture? Well, you don't have to spend a fortune to get some of that luster back. Look no further than your kitchen for a natural way to treat your tresses with olive oil. It has long been known that olive oil is essential to a healthy diet and now it is gaining popularity as a beauty aid.

Start this homemade treatment by rinsing and towel drying your hair well. Massage warmed oil into your hair by using the palms of your hands until the hair is thoroughly saturated. Wrap your hair loosely on your head and apply a plastic shower cap or towel wrap. Make sure to cover your pillowcase too. In the morning rinse, shampoo and condition. The result is noticeably softer more manageable hair with added shine. Don't have olive oil? Try peanut oil if you don't mind the nutty smell. Oils that are rich in omega fatty acids and have high amounts of vitamin E and K are ideal.
